Which Asian Country speaks and writes better English?

Why is Turkey counted as Europe? I'm getting tired of being associated with Europe, we are ASIAN

Philippines it is.
I would prefer the call center person to be a filipono/a , its not about accent, its just the attitude. Indians speak like robots, never try to understand the problem or solve it.

not really. both russians and turks are europeans, wherever you might be geograpically.

Funny experience with call center. One the ladies from my D2H provider had called me. She wanted me to subscribe the new channel for kids.
I told her I don't have any kids and I live alone presently, so I have no use for it. I had a hard time convincing her that I don't have kids.
And then, when she finally understood, she went on like, "Even you can watch it!". Again I had a hard time convincing her that I was not a kid!

I dont remember what my last conversation was about, but I remember I was quite angry because she was saying everyting except what I really needed to know... which was a 'yes/no' answer.
It went something like this:
me: Can you confirm a payee over phone, may be using some authetication/security question?
cs: sir, blah blah blah
me: Its a simple question, can you do it or not (mildly annoyed)
cs: sir, but blah blah
me: CAN--YOU--CONFIRM--A--PAYEE--OVER--PHONE? A simple yes/no is enough.
cs: no, sir
me: THANK YOU.. have a nice day.
cs: Is there anything else I can help y.....
me: disconnect. Take a cold shower.

Turkey is geographically located in Asia, but it interacted more with Europe in the history. And your people are ethnically closer to Europe too.

Lol..I know.. It's like they only know to read off a script.. Infuriating sometimes

Btw Aussie accent evolved because the early settlers were too drunk and did'nt bother to use the vowels, It's true.. :D

And add to that Aboriginal words, You get our nasal speech that the Pomms love to hate..

In that train of thought Australia and New Zealand is European as wel, since they are mostly ethnically European and located in Asia-Pacific

These Ox-bridge types are exceptions mate.. Not the general.. You get them in every country

Of-course, I agree. It's the most pleasant one though. Not just plain slobbering.

Both are considerd globally West.. Even though geographically Asia Pacific

In south India more people can speak in English than Hindi..

All of you think west

You are absent minded Asian residents!

I have talked with many persons of the world. My experience is Vietnamese speak the worse English.

Dude see the map... it shows clearly. Singapore very impressive

While not doubting Singapore and India may have the most English proficient speakers.. The report is bias.. It's from a private education institute that operates in certain countries

The EF English Proficiency Index is based on the online test scores of 910,000 adults in 70 countries. The results do not reflect the entire population of a country. The report is based on data from people who took an EF online English test in 2014.

Highly unlikely that speakers in Japan,China and Vietnam are more proficient in English than those in Hong Kong and Sri Lanka.. Who are commonwealth nations and does have a high percentage of English speakers
