I was in school, english class, teacher was reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerers stone.

Then everybody suddenly started leaving until me and 2 other kids were the only ones left in the classroom. Teacher wouldnt tell us what was happening and I didn't find out till i got home.

A year or so later President Bush came to my school because we had the highest donations in the country to Afghanistan schools after the fall of the Taliban. He made a speech which I didn't pay attention to. lol

what about you guys?

Well it was about 8 in the night i think in Pakistan?I was watching TV and suddenly PTV and all other Pakistani Channels pulled off the regular transmission and started relaying CNN/FoxNews Feed.I saw 2nd plane going into WTC Live.Funny Story: My younger brother only 10 then thought we were watching some action movie. He did not realize until i told him.

I was in 3rd grade. In my class with my friends. My teacher(who was Spanish) was crying and her colleague was also crying. We didnt understand what was happening(because out of no where they start crying). She brought a TV in the class and all the students(including me) watched the live coverage wondering wtf was going on.We watched the second plane hit. It was very strange thinking back on it.Its really a touchy subject here in New York.

I think one of my teachers relatives died on that event.....:undecided:

This also started the terrorist jokes on my Sikh friend too. When he started wearing the Turban.

It was around 9 o'clock I think in Bombay when it happened. We were all watching T.V. when suddenly my Dad came from upstairs and told us to put on the news.

I watched as the second plane hit the tower and then the towers go down. It was weird because at that time I was too young to really understand the terrible event that was happening and its future implications.
