What's up with Pakistan and it's disownership of Nobel laureates?

There are thousand other Philanthropists who still havent had their share of Nobel Prize, that doesnt mean we should disown other Pakistanis who got it. I am sorry to say but I dont agree with you.

I was just pointing out that for me the prize has no value!

yaar im just a pakistani who lives in pakistan and i represent my people regardless of my qualification or anything. Im just taking this as a Pakistani here not even as a Muslim. 'Nobel' peace prize or just a 'Nobel' prize what is its criteria in the first place? And what type of people are 'entertained' by this prize? Those who politically serve western interests or on merit? Thats why main questions raised in the post#54 along with other questions.

I dont know why China has disowned her nobel laureate, I cant speak them. But we shouldnt do the same.

Sorry, but that was not the case, from where did you get that her own people disowned her?
I saw people of swat distributing sweets and organizing gatherings for watch the Nobel Prize ceremony.

No they dont like her. Ill advice u to visit swat personally and see for yrself. Regarding the bolded part then so are Pakistanis people of Dr Abdul Sattar Edhi and Mukhtara Maai who have taken the trouble of living here and doing a practical word within their areas for the betterment of the masses. Who knows if we let go Shakil Afridi they might give him also nobel prize since he has served them best. Common read my post#54 and try answering the questions i have raised if u can.

I know I understand what you are saying. Even I want Abdul Sattar Edhi to be given a Nobel Peace Prize. But I saw that in one of your comment you said that Nobel Prize is given to those who serve western interests, I am just saying don't confuse the general Nobel Peace Prize and Nobel Physics prize. It is two different things.

Abdus salam was a shining light from subcontinent.He actually won it based on his research and not by being a puppet of the west.
