Mela is the word coined ;if i am not wrong, by those people who thought they are not burgers or felt burgers look down on them. Mela is a person who is everything a burger is not. Mela means dirty , cheap and here its used to refer to a person who does not know or like to follow the norms followed by a burger. Many melas themselves are actually from rich backgrounds go to best unis but since they are rugged and hard , they like to refer to themselves as melas, thats more of a sarcastic terminology IMO.

Whats retarded in it? Only thing i did not like was mention of word rapid fire as it has been picked up from indian karan johar show else there was nothing wrong with what they shared. Ever visit other unis of pakistan and see the students there acting more fake-burger likes, nothing that could be compared to lums , and none of the students in the video said anything bad or offensive except the girl who said men are arseholes. Apart from that it was a funny video.

You are wrong Sir.I know universities where there are decent and humble beings so please cut off that all-are-lewd mantra and Im sure those sensible beings are there in LUMS as well..This video gave a bad reputation to their Alma mater, the good thing for them is the video wont go viral.It would have been fine if they had kept the name of university out of the video but the producer probably thinks its a status symbol to flaunt name of the university ..Imagine any less-acquainted father who sees this video; would he want his son or daughter to go there?

No this video is not giving any bad name to the unis reputation. What was offensive in it? Apart from harassment joke and use of word arseholes.

I dont even get what ur whole reaction is about. Someday take out same survey at other unis it wont be different or its just that some of them conversing in english triggered people into judging them. It was a funny video.
