Impossible.

The moral values of our society are based on religion and that is why it will be impossible to separate state from religion.
That is why pakisan is deep in mess lookat it religion make it sick. Mullah barking on oad speekers hate speeches blood everywhere and militry bombing with jets and artilry guns own land what more sign we are waiting for

.
if we get a secular pakistan where religion and politics are not mixed, what might it look like?
healthy, tolerant and hence prosperous.

how will it benefit pakistan?
Our future generations will have a nicer country than what we got.

how will it be bad for pakistan?
Secularism is not a magic wand. If we don't follow principles based on humanity and kindness. it will be bad from every perspective. Just like now. .

if we get a secular pakistan in 5 years, what can it achieve in a decade? what will it lose?
We can be an economic power like China.

India is secular and still shitiest and poorest country in the world. Secular Pakistan mean equal rights for every citizen and Islam to be kept away from politics, nothing more.

My wish is Pakistan became a secular republic. My opinion based on reality is that Pakistan will continue to remain an Islamic state.

Wish nice things for your neighbor and pray for better times.

If your neighbor is prosperous, you will be even more prosperous.

i agree with this, if we stay the same we will never be tolerant.

does secularism really ensure that?
look at india and even some countries in africa.
even turkey a country that has been secular for 100 years is not" developed" yet.

secular (read inclusive) society combined with export industry means prosperity.

India may not be a good model, but there are plenty of other societies that are inclusive and export oriented. And see if they are prosperous or not.

So let's go beyond India centric discussions.

Thank you

If you really want to see how Pakistan would look like if it became a secular republic, then look at Bangladesh.

they are in the same situation as us if not worst.
