Assalamualaikum members,
What are some of the qualities that interviewers look for in a candidate?

I am 6ft tall with an athletic build.
I have done kickboxing for 2 years.
And I have a decent amount of confidence.

Will this improve my chances of being selected?
Please share your thoughts.
Thanks

Hi,

Off course it will---. It would be stupid on part of the interviewers not to select you.

In my book you have already crossed two major hurdles---you are able---you are capable---.

How you talk and how you present yourself will make the difference---.

You need to stick to your story whatever you say should be said with confidence and respect. Whatever you say should not have any discrepancies. Show them you can get the job done, don't say it, show it. You need to display leadership, teamwork and responsibility in the ISSB group tasks. Be a good runner.

DO NOT TRY TO BE SOMEONE YOU KNOW IS NOT YOU IN REALITY.

Great advice for life in general. When you go into any interview, be 100% you. That doesn't mean you don't research into skills they're looking for or don't do background checks on the company/interviewer - still do all that. Just be genuine, people can tell when someone is blagging, nobody wants to employ a blagger - unless it's a sales role.... :woot:

@Muhammad Owais 1999, I will ask you to either have a short, trimmed beard like Fawad Khan or remove the beard entirely and go in for a neatly trimmed mustache.
