What's new

What kind of behaviour Pakistani Dramas are trying to promote?

Mera jism meri marzi!

These liberals are trying their best to destroy our religious believes, traditions and culture. They are more visible in Lahore and Islamabad.

May Allah protect us and our children from these evil doers. May Allah either bless these liberals with His hidayat or destroy them. Ameen
Such great traditions and culture that is full of all manner of corruption and vice.

A few weeks back she was angry on the rape case (which everyone should be) and was asking kya yeh riyasat e madina hai..... Didn't expect this type of work from such a senior actor.

Geo news muqadder my family watched it just abit of go. I hate these dramas not based on true life. Why is it they show extremely wealthy family yet fighting like teenagers. Bad influence on the viewers.
Can they not make drama on poor person working hard in college, makes it to uni and graduates. Father is pleased after many years of working hard and it has paid off. now the young person is grown up and gets job and becomes CEO whatever. See my storyline is original.

Same vein hopefully as destroying Bacha bazi in Madressa’s, fake pirs raping women, beating of women aimlessly, Brothels catering to thick accent mullah’s etc.

Lets not be selective in wanting evil gone from Pakistani society but only from one place.
Very true. In fact such people are more evil than these liberals. They are not mullahs or pirs, but devils in disguise. They are causing more damage to our younger generation by forcefully distancing them from Islam and its teaching.

These culprits must be given more severe punishment so that others should take as lesson and never ever think to carry out such shameful evil crimes.

Every country polices' its media, it's just a question of where they draw the line.
It's not about liberals it's what is and has been happening on ground. I call it GROUND reality
Such great traditions and culture that is full of all manner of corruption and vice.
Exactly. They're just portraying what's already happening out there.

Biggest child abusers in the country are the so called mullahs because parents blindly hand them over their children to them.

Pakistan should draw the line on the basis of its own creation.

Pakistan was created for Muslims to independently and freely practice their religion, a state which provides fair and timely justice, peace and rule of law for every one.

But we missed the very essence of Pakistan's existence. Muhammad Ali Jinnah helped to get our homeland but what we have contributed after this achievement is a million dollar question.

Rapist, child molesters and prostitutes all are the cruel ground reality created by us-Pakistani society.

Every Pakistani citizen blame others for these calamities - government, armed forces, establishment, law enforcing agencies, political leaders and people in power. But have we done anything to correct it except complaining to each other.

Why Pakistani nation is electing corrupt and incompetent MNAs and MPAs repeatedly to lead them?

Do not blame electoral process. We all know the statistics. The number of votes casted are some percentage of total population of that constituency. Interestingly, most of the cribbing come from those who never casted a single vote in their lifetime.

If we as a nation protect and correctly use our power of vote to elect competent, honest and loyal MNAs and MPAs only, belonging to any party, let me assure you that we are taking on big leap in achieving good governance.

Good governance means every institute of Pakistan will work according to the constitution of Pakistan.

Rule of law, fair and timely justice will ensure peace in the society.

Rapists, child molesters and prostitutes will be ejected from our society.

On the other hand, whatever we sow we bear. At present we are bearing the cruel ground reality.

no one have right to moral policing dont like it change the channel
Sorry mate. That's got nothing to do with moral policing. The female in that scene is describing sexual exploitation in the workplace. This is practically a Harvey Weinstein scenario. You're quite confused if you think this comes under overzealous moral policing, good sir.

The government seriously need to regulate the "entertainment" section of media. This destroys our family culture and norms.
A lot of this reflects the reality of life in Pakistan - Manto highlighted this before.
The only difference is that these are accessible to all ages and mental capacity so interpretation can go either way.

Hence the actual role of PEMRA in regulating content and ensuring that channels either have separate family friendly content and more adult themes in a different medium - or restrict the way this content is presented.

Unfortunately, our society is so afraid of admitting it is not the perfect heritage of Madina’s society(who were still the best of muslims yet had to deal with adultery, unruliness, corruption etc by fair punishment and repetitive good example).

At one time a woman has the courage to boldly shout and display a card stating "mera jism meri marzi" and other times she is sexually exploited by her male colleagues or boss!!!

What reaction or lesson will family members comprising of father, mother, sisters, and brothers register after watching such episode. "A woman accepts sexual exploitation just to avoid going back to Gujranwala", learning a new term "hand job".

Some one in this thread stated that we can switch the channel. When? Just after watching this part or clip with our family.....

Another interesting term used in this thread - moral policing.

Are we willing to expose our women and children to such harsh realities? Is there no alternate solutions to share financial burden of the family?

Pakistani nation comprises of Muslims (+96%) and our religion is Islam. Islam do not allow such immoral activities.
Being a part of Muslim society, every member has the moral obligation to play positive role to eliminate such menace from our society. Moral policing is our duty as citizens of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Right of free speech does not mean a man or a woman openly shouts and displays "mera jism meri marzi" or in dramas she justifies her "blow job" action.

On the other hand, Muslim males must respect their female colleagues as their own sisters, if someone misbehaves other Muslim brothers should react and protect their female colleagues.

Child molestation and rape is another serious issue. Pakistani Madaris specially governing bodies must take very serious note and take all necessary preventive steps on immediate basis to completely eliminate such recurrence.
Few areas which need special attention are selection criteria and procedure for selection of teachers and issuance of teaching eligibility certificate. Selection procedure must include psychological exam, teaching skills test, subject proficiency test and multiple interviews with psychiatrists for thorough psychiatric evaluation. Pakistani Madaris have to take this hard initiative, if they genuinely wish to help this Muslim society. Now Muslim parents are loosing their trust in Madaris and "Mullahs" and reluctant to send their children to Madaris or to hire Mullahs for home tuition.

Parents are to be more vigilant. Because, provision of education in safe environment is the prime responsibility of father for male child and mother for the female child. Parents are to closely monitor their children studies, should have close coordination with teachers and school/Madaris and most importantly always look for their child's behavioral change, good or bad, investigate the cause(s) of this change and finally find and execute the remedial action if necessary.

Wake up Muslims of Islamic Republic of Pakistan!!! We cannot let Islam diminish from our society. We have to execute some very difficult actions to prevent our future generation going astray.
