What is the maximum amount of JF-17s that can be built per year?

From what I read only about 12-15 JF-17s can be produced a year but I could be wrong, but I think there should be at least 40-50 built a year and the number of aircraft that PAF has should at least match the IAF.

Sorry about having such a short thread but didn't know what else to talk about in this thread.

Pakistan can make up to 25 planes a year but currently makes around 15. We already have 100 jf17. Another 100 jf17 block 3 would do us just fine. Then we can move on to 5th generation fighter planes. I would love Pak to have 50Eurofighters but we cannot afford them

There was a news from an insider on the Sister defence forum where he stated that the number of JF-17s would be increased to 300 and majority of these will be Block-3.

26 per year or 2+ per month. Engine is imported from Russia through China. Approximately 80 % components are now localised.

25 to30 is enough we should focus on azam project and not use all money on jf17 indian half jets are crap and have 50yrs old technology so we should focus on quality instead of competing in numbers due to budget constraints
We have never played a numbers game v IAF, but yes we need to focus on quality.

Fifth gen aircraft are very, very hard to make. The J-20 and Su-57 have reported RCS that are similar to the Typhoon which is about 0.5-1m2 while the F-22 is 0.0002 or about the size of a metal marble on radars. If they do go for one they should go with some European power like BAE or Airbus that actually knows how to make stealth aircraft or wait for 6th gen fighters.

J-20 is far far better than Su-57 head on RCS is very similar to F-22 RCS @Phillip the Arab

This is just the Pakistani production line, there is a parallel Chinese production line too, but as you know the Chinese can make anything in any quantity.

That is unrealistic bro

I do see the JF17 growing to 300 to 400. PAF fleet size has been restricted by the operating costs of legacy platforms. As those platforms are replaced, recurring maintenance costs can be put back into procurement of new aircraft.

Note, how many Mushrtaqs Pakistan has produced. Far more than the original plan. They will keep on making them to keep the production line open and the skills tro manufacture alive. It will take 10-15 years before Azm hits the road. That time period will be filled with JF17s.

There is only one restriction - $$$$$!!! If we had the money we could build a 1000 a year.

Realistically, we dont need to match India plane for plane. We just need to be able to hold them off. Priority now should be longer range multirole platforms, Block 3, Azm, and long range SAMs.
