What happened with the Sanafir and Tiran islands?

So Egypt ceded the two islands back to KSA a few years ago but what is the status quo of those islands today? Is there any military activity?

I am asking as they sit extremely strategically in the Strait of Tiran at the mouth of the Gulf of Aqaba and not far away from the Gulf of Suez that links with the Suez Canal.

I heard there was a band in the agreement where saudi arabia cant put foreign troops on the island and must respect the Camp david accords. Which SA completely refused
so I guess it was a turn around to get the islands off camp david and put egyptian heavy weaponry there. A smart move. Another band that all foreign forces will exit the islan and that means the multinational force there
