What's new

What General Hameed Gul said about political system of Pakistan before his death !!

HG was right. The new generation doesn't give two about this rotten system.

Isn't he the one who manipulated against a Democratically elected Parliament and broke his oath which they take as a soldier.
no he's the one who manipulated against the "democratically" elected stable of crooks and charlatans known as teh parliament who have broken every oath and promise they ever made and noever done a honest hours work let alone a days work and who are working feverishly to this day to destroy pakistan and make it a slave of bharat....

HG was the chief architect and is reason of sorry state of affairs Pakistan is facing now.
Father of new a policy..... use of non state actors as a foreign policy tool.
bharat is the father and grandmotehr of terrorists having created them for tibet and then east pakistan.....

Typical madrassah fed bigotry reply with nonsense and abuse, what else can be expected. No wonder u guys will remain in same state for next 500 years.
And congratulations, Pakistan is ranked 134th in poverty ranking.

@waz @Irfan Baloch could you pls take notice of foul language of his post

lagta hai dum per pair rakh dia

no son what you wrote was typical bhagwa shit taught in vedic patshala, i mere pointed while you belong to a 3rd world shithole you have no right to lecture us.. Care about the most poor living in your country [more then africa combine], more farmers in marathi region commit suicide then people die here [Pakistan] in terrorism.. Better care about them and stop worshiping your bastard neta  they did nothing good for your kind..

And where did i said Pakistan is heaven, where did i lecture gangalanders? 134 or 1034 doesnt matter, we are better on poverty control, we have better income equality, more % of middle class..

No doubt he was a patriotic Pakistani but, as Musharraf said, Gul was a nutjob. No solutions being offered except ramblings and generalizations. And grand ambitions of making Pakistan the BEST MODEL FOR HUMANITY in every sense. Basically, this guy is even discarding the 1973 Constitution--a document which even General Zia didn't annul. Wow!

I don't think Pakistan is getting any worse than this guy and many of PTI supporters claim. It is a fact that Pakistani economy is getting better since Zardari left. It is a fact that Karachi has much better peace since Zardari left. It is a fact that internal terrorism in Pakistan has gone down a lot since Zardari left. Pakistan has even improved its ranking in the Transparency International ratings.

So are they not fruits of an orderly change of power? Or do we want "revolutions' like in Libya or Egypt or Syria?

As I keep saying here, political instability is the mother of all corruptions. PAKISTAN IS NOT UNIQUELY CORRUPT IN THE WORLD! It happens in almost all countries of the world. Look at America: Given its virtually limitless human and natural resources, it should be a big creditor nation. But it's a huge debtor nation.

We need to stop putting Pakistani politicians on some heavenly thrones; they are corrupt because the society is corrupt. But they are certainly not the most corrupt in the world.

This is all temporary if institutions are not allowed to work autonomously and held accountable.

Unlike USA in Pakistan Corruption money is used to win elections and elections are won to do corruption and the vicious cycle continues.

they are corrupt because the society is corrupt.

The society is corrupt because these corrupt incompetent politicians left no choice for society to function otherwise. Chaos and disorder was avoided by society by adopting the only option i.e. corruption.

Basically, this guy is even discarding the 1973 Constitution--a document which even General Zia didn't annul. Wow!

This useless (for Pakistani citizens) constitution is the very reason gullible Pakistanis got exploited ...... even today in the age of awareness and free media the shameless creatures find justification for all their corrupt actions in this constitution and demand continuity of their corrupt rule under this constitution. Nobody cares and listens to me when I speak of my constitutional rights.

all these are achieved because of much needed measures taken by Armed Forces, while these politicians have mortgaged 61 important buildings of Pakistan.

We shouldn't be comfortable with this that corruption happens all over world so that nothing wrong if it happens in Pakistan. Our priority should be cleaning our mess instead of comparing corruption levels with other countries.

Pakistan is not the shop or Market of the key poster of Pakistan, We should stop and through out corrupt people from Pakistan otherwise we will eat each other.
Our key poster PM,CM,Civil bureaucracy are total corrupt which is the big resistance for the developments of the country.

No he is the one who brought even more corrupt band of crooks to go against the crooks. IJI was the greatest band of crooks. The tragedy of this country is that these so called reformers are the biggest charlatans of all time - hypocrisy is endless.

Mr. Hamid gul was directly involved in the creation of the most corrupt band of politicians just because he was against benazir. Would he ever ask the same people to run his home? Mr. Gul and many like him belong to the elite who have made this system what it is today and then criticize it.

Many like him because he arouses their jazba e jihad, but the fact is that everyone who has served in the echelons of power in Pakistan is fully responsible for the sad state of affairs, this included Mr. Gul.

not his fault, his senior asked him to do so, he did the job, if he would resign other would have appointed for same job.. Its system which need to be changed as HG said.

Should have resigned gracefully then. Why didnt he? He had seen his prime and was about to retire. He had a huge role in creating this system. Did he apologize for it? This is good, create a corrupt system and then criticize it.
