What does '%' mean in nuclear

For example:

  • X could enrich uranium to 20%
  • X could enrich uranium to 50%
  • X could enrich uranium to 70%
  • X could enrich uranium to 100%

What is the actual difference?
Does the higher percentage mean stronger or larger or what exactly?
Is 20% still dangerous?

its a genuine question becuase iran is aparently four days from 20% and i dont want to die. because i live in the uk and they hate iran nuclear progrm and this will be invetibale. plus does anyone know what happens at 100%. is 100% real or just a concept. has anyone done 100% before. Last night Iran has already declared nucelar progress

they are thinking about attacking iran soon aswell.

Enriched uranium is a type of uranium in which the percent composition of uranium-235 has been increased through the process of isotope separation. Natural uranium is 99.284% 238U isotope, with 235U only constituting about 0.711% of its mass. 235U is the only nuclide existing in nature (in any appreciable amount) that is fissile with thermal neutrons.

Pretty much, although you do need a lot more than 20% produce a practical weapon when reaching critical mass (as far as warhead weight is concerned).

100% isn’t real in nuclear power plants.

Critical mass is the smallest amount of fissile material needed for a sustained nuclear chain reaction. The critical mass of a fissionable material depends upon its nuclear properties (specifically, the nuclear fission cross-section), its density, its shape, its enrichment, its purity, its temperature, and its surroundings. The percentage number we were talking about has to do with the enrichment level.

They will need a much much more than 20% to make a deliverable weapon.
The % purity is not a linear relationship.
As you keep getting more and more 235, the longer and more difficult it gets.

Iran is least likely to nuke anyone, except the zionists are trying hard to bring about a clash of US and Russia, which ofourse will end up involving whole of NATO and that's what you got to fear. Fear the day when you wake up to the sight and devastation of gigantic Mushrooms...

And if you really care for your life, run away from those European cities and get some where up in the mountains.
