Excellent choice sir, nice clean vocals... soothing to hear without heavy technicalities of classical genre.
Here is another from the erstwhile singer. BTW I watched this drama on a CD multiple times. One of my favourite due to some personal reasons ( I will explain somewhere else)

Very recently I came across a remix version of "mere rashke qamar" sung by Rahat fateh Ali Khan.
Later somebody told me the original was sung by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. I'm a huge fan of his.
