In my early teens, I used to hate those sappy love songs to which my parents listened. Now I love those old Pakistani/Indian songs -- especially the lyrics.

Also as a teenager, I couldn't wait to get the h*ll out of Pakistan and go to America -- sex, drugs, rock 'n roll.
Now I love Pakistan and miss Karachi.
