What's new

We need diplomatic effort and scrutiny: Pakistanis are not eligible for Italian scholarship.

I agree that our government is not raising voice but we should send all our students to other countries and China is best.we should also change subjects and programs here in pakistan.time to understand modern subjects like vector calculus, deep learning, aerodynamics etc.

I have a question : if you care about your Fukken faith then why do you come to ‘kuffar’ countries to study and work?

Remain in your hellhole universities and practice your faith.

I have tried to keep an open mind but surely some faiths are better than others when it comes to being a guest student or worker. Never seen this stupid behaviour from Indians/sikhs.

i think you really havent seen indians...

Dear all,

I do not want to make this post political. But Every time, I see such positive things somewhere else and not in Pakistan. I feel bad, I feel very bad about our Political Systems.
When Indian Ministers visit some other countries, they talk about trade etc, but Most importantly they talk about Education and better conditions of their students in those countries. But Irrespective of any Political Parties Govts. in power in Pakistan, I have never seen such education diplomacy by any Pakistani Govts with such a consistency as Indians do. Even many Scholarship Programs are excluding or have already excluded our nationals. Visas are getting rejected in larger number now and delays are getting bigger now and we are still doing nothing. From failed development of UESTPS to any Semiconductor Industry Development in Pakistan. This story is going on with more disappointments everyday
Students abroad are the only best agents to show our better positive side to other nations and they serve as most reliable and impactful bridge to develop trade, technology transfer and development relationships with other nations. We should use effectively our one of the biggest youth ratio in the world to make good relationships with other countries and Political Parties must keep Education as top priority in any agendas of meetings with other nations.
But We are here also and We are trying to change it and We shall change this. Soon Scholarship Network will be leading this in the World in sha ALLAH

My wife is Italian, I know Italy personally and I can tell you that Italy has one of the best educational systems in Europe. I can also tell you that Pakistan must invest in education. Create a strict "merit based" education investment in students to study in specific fields, with full government sponsorship. Make that sponsorship "iron clad" in which the Pakistani students who graduate from Italian/European Universities on full state sponsorship (Pakistan), are required to return to Pakistan and serve in their field of study, in Pakistan's "State Programs." Jobs under State Programs will be guaranteed and with proportionate pay packages. In the same go, Pakistan must force all private schools to adhere to State Education Curriculum which is qualitatively superior and offers substantial growth of skills and knowledge pool. Teachers and Professors (again, strictly merit based) should be given decent pay packages and ensure that they are heavily invested in the future of our young generation.

Pakistan must standardize and streamline the education system and provide our students the environment and the affordability to excel in their field of studies. Providing our young with the right education system with it's core embeded in the Sunnah of Nabi Muhammad Alaihi Salaat-u-Wassalam. Education and Research Centers are at the very heart of Pakistan's road to becoming a powerful and dominant State in the region and the world.

Lastly, Pakistan needs to exterminate corruption in State Institutions and eliminate all dependencies of borrowing from IMF/WB. We should have a target to achieve "Full Literacy" at 80% and all debt wiped-off/paid-off by 2030. This is not an unrealistic target and it can be achieved through the dedication and hard work of Pakistanis. Only we can achieve it ourselves, we do not need to wait for any savior to do it for us, we need to summon our will power and our courage and our faith in ALLAH SUBHANAHU WATA'AALAH.

We need mobility program so students can spend a year and so in Italian universities just to get an experience.
We need language center for students to learn Italian so that they can blend when go there to study.
Teach student contemporary relevant things of Italy in Pakistan so that they can get internship there: software, technical skills (many of our students are bad at software and programming, all are crammers)
With this culture develop, try to open some campuses of italian universities in Pak.

What I hope:
Italians don't differentiate (due to past socialism) between students/employee (compared to UK, national, europeans, international students etc).. so we can learn a lot there.
With Pakistanis learning italian, we can learn a lot in automotive, electronics, architecture, civil planning, botany, forestry, tourism, fashion, hotelling, cuisines, dairy, dry meat/cereals etc etc.

You may have noticed that how they integrate their centuries old buildings with modern city expansion.
If network between Iran Pak and Turkey is developed, then govt should sponsor routes so that when people will travel (Italy too) and see how thing work like city management, traffic, law etc. Because a good reference is an eye opening and a good deed is contagious. People try to adopt/get it like a disease.

I remember once back in the 1960s there something along those lines, I believe it was called the "RCD Highway" that would've run between Pakistan, Iran and Turkey. This can still be achieved, but we have to put our house in order, exterminate corruption and it's proponents and standardize our edcatuon system.
