Watching thread?

Whenever i reply in some topics then these topics automatically become my watching thread and i start getting notifications whenever someone reply in that thread. How to turn this off?

Happened to me too just go to your preferences and untick the "Automatically watch threads that you create or when you reply." @Raja.Pakistani

notification that member x, y, z replied in that threads. I only want notification when someone quote my posts in that topic and not for every single reply in that topic

have done it.thx.. It was checked on..this started happening just recently

@WebMaster the above setting did not solve it for me.still getting alerts..look at this pic

There are alert preferences, you can turn off watched threads there.
