this doesnt mean dividing sindh and it would still be sindh

remember this needed as if not done Punjab will be over-represented in senate once its split into two
i think KPK and Balochistan should also be split into two

PM Khan has not even visited Karachi for quite a time...He has gone to Peshawar and Lahore but he didn't come to Karachi.

What makes me worry is that PTI's reputation is taking a hit here. If Khan had landed in Karachi, people would have assumed that PTI is doing something or PM is interested in Karachi.

On this topic - On Khan's response, I believe he is not that simple man. He may be has some plan for Karachi which he does not want to reveal on TV.

Truth is he is leader of punjab and kpk and not karachi. He simply doens't care he cant say i am hurt to see karachi like this and that. Nothing more will come out of this. There is no plan nothing otherwise they wouldn't be sitting with ppp in meeting.

Every kid in Karachi knows PPP govy is corrupt.

The question is, what exactly is Federal Govt doing to tackle it?

Currently it seems they have kneeled down to the thugs. The all party committee (sab mil ke kaam kareingay, joke) lollipop is old and tested in the past.

As I said in my previous reply, if Federal govt is handicapped, then PTI 14 seats should submit resignation.

I agree on the resignation of PTI MPA. Absolutely correct. IF the MNAs resign the government will fall.

Do remember the fact that the center can not intervene in any province as it's against the law and against the 18th amendment. There is a reason PPP is so scared of changes to the 18th amendment as they will always win interior Sindh in the foreseeable future. It does not matter who is in the center, be it PML-N, PTI or any other party... they can not come to the aid of karachiites until asked for by the provincial government.

Imran khan and his party is unable to understand that people in Karachi don't want to know about 18th amendment. They want drinking water instead of sewerage water in their homes.

I like how big leaders of PTI including Imran Khan came to Karachi to build votebase before elections.

After the elections they forgot that Karachi even exist in map of Pakistan.

But PTI needs to remember this - Only THREE years are left and they have NOTHING to show to Karachi. NOTHING.

I agree... I think Imran Khan should not waste the mandate and political capital the people of Karachi have given him.

I hope he doesn't allow his stubbornness to deal with the PeePeePee and use the Karachi people as the sacrificial Lamb.

as a side note:
A while ago there was a thread on new provinces for Pakistan... Just like Punjab Sindh should be divided or at the least one of the 2 northern border districts should be amalgamated into the newer south Punjab.
Nothing will happen in Sindh till PPP is alive and the civil government is filled with PPP goons and the check and balance departments are the other side of the same coin. I like many of my friends miss the Karachi of 80s.

People will start hating you as well if you don't do something.

hating is a small word....when you push people to the wall, make the city trash, No clean drink water, load shedding, systemically remove people of Karachi from Government jobs and bring illiterates from interior Sindh and Punjab, they have very right to demand for separate provinces or separated country. It’s now up to federal government to decide.
