When was the last time China went to war?
Decades ago.

When was the last time USA went to war?
2003. Razed Iraq to the ground. Again.

War is not all about hardware. You also need bravery and discipline. That's something Americans don't have. American service men and women pee their pants and collapse to the ground on weak legs if they hear they gonna fight China in Taiwan strait.
Unless you resort to guerilla tactics. The battles in the pacific during World War II were brutal and were fought with a degree of conviction and bravado that’s not easy to fathom, especially against a relentless and disciplined enemy (Japs)
