If you believe those jets can search and shoot the tiny Bayraktar TB2 , you are too naive. They are meant to protect intrusions in Jufra-Sirte line, or to conduct air-strikes on strategic pre-defined locations. They wouldnt risk their planes in areas covered by SAM or Ships.
I think according to Haftar's claims there shouldnt be any Turkish drones left in Libya, Pantsir is awesome it has shot down all of Turkish UAVs in a few days, how sad, why would they need jets to intercept them.

Russia got two A-50U AWACs at Latakia. If need be, those deployed to Libya to locate and track TB2.

And in order to protect the AWACS they should dispatch more jets-AA systems to protect the base, more assets to protect base from artillery strikes to secure the perimeter and so on. and involve in Libya further "officially". Not logical, it would attract too much attention even from France.
Currently, they repaint new camo on their planes, paint new flags and spread rumors those will be operated by serbian/belarusian pilots. How would they hide an AWACS?
If they really intended to involve further, they could support Haftar with better SAM systems. Looks like they don't desire to see image of their systems is being crippled in hands or amateurs.

Turkey did shoot down Su-24 in Syria in 2015 but Russian tourists stopped going to Turkey led to economic hardship and Erdogan had to kiss up to Putin and buy nuclear power plant and S-400 from Russia as compensation and ended up sanctioned by the US.
