Is this technology very expensive ? If it is not expensive or even if it is average expensive , I think it is very useful.

Link works fine, this is not new just modern application, prior to this there were sismic and acoustic tools including visual to search confined and enclosed spaces for signs of life.

Such tech has been available to Search and Rescue teams since the 1994 Earthquake in LA.
