Vietnamese Smartphone Maker Mobistar enters India, eying local production

I see no point of buying an unknown vnmese brand phone, which is also overly priced as several indian members already pointed out. As they are all like putting together some parts sourced from Shenzhen, which makes them even more expensive than Xiaomi, etc. ... If you have to buy an overly priced phone, why not just buy indian brand phones? I am wondering what happened to e.g., Micromax phones? If india can not make even a smart phone to compete with an overly priced phone from tiny vn, isn't it a insult???
No thanks. Why don’t you let the people of India decide what they want? I am sure they don’t need a chinese troller.

Do you make all 100 percent of components or 90 percent are imported?

I am surprised that Vietnam has phone makers other than Bkav:lol:
There are 6 or so Vietnamese smartphone makers.

Lacking capital aka money for R&D and ads is a major weakness. Otherwise they can compete against Chinese phone makers.

.
Best space to compete in is the INR 7K to 15K.
Xiaomi is leading at present, but people like to diversify.
What is needed to sell like hot cakes:
1. 1080p or higher screens.
2 lag free operation.
3 responsive touchscreen
4 gorilla glass
5 RAM >=4GB
6. Looks.
7. Battery 3000 to 5000 mAh.

I'm looking to buy one next month.

P.S.- Indians are neutral to Vietnam. It would be easy to build a good image.
Indians are neutral to Viet ? Bro ww are good friends .

Dude . Wait for flash sales . Indian smartphone market is huge bro . I myself like to buy another phone just to gift to my relatives . I myself have 3 high end SP

You are funny. Why should the people of India feel insulted by VN phones? VN phone makers have a wide range of smartphones to offer.

Bphone is good :-)
A great phone for great people!

Incoming butthurt has arrived so quick  ...its so pathetic according to them, but they have to spend time commenting on it instead of ignoring (if it really was).

Yes, you can see fear in their eyes as if Vietnam manufacturing one day will make millions of Chinese jobless.

India has a huge population. That is the chance of century for Vietnam phone makers. If Mobistar succeeds other Vietnam companies will follow.

Military might stretching to SCS? Did someone's dick bang your head too hard this time? Indian Navy is pretty much a big joke compared to our Naval might. I'm also surprised you calling that monkey bro  , you sure you wanna get that kind of intimate relation with him who wished very bad thing for India. He was disappointed that the Doklam affair didn't evolved into a real war between China and India. In other words he wanted Vietnam to observe how the war would progress and how Indians would die at the hands of the PLA.
