I doubt with TPP can this little company can still use many patent rights for free.
TPP is good for Vietnam in some way like cloth export, but it will at the same time destory the IT industry, because the cost of patent right will make the inovation so high and have no advance before apple and samsung.
This company want to develop big enough before TPP, it need to competition with chinese company in chinese and india and se asia market, which will be hard. So I doubt the furture of this company.

If you are sick of Chinese smartphones, Vietnam’s BPhone is the next smartphone you should be looking out, it comes with a premium aluminum unibody that reminds us of the XiaomiMi 4 and with that, don’t expect to come cheap as the phone starts from RM1800 up to RM3700 depending on storage models and they come in different premium colors as well.

BKav Corporation, the manufacturer of the BPhone has packed the phone with some decent hardware internals despite not being the latest and fastest, the phone sports a Snapdragon 8012.5GHz processor mated to 3GB RAM, it has up to 128GB of non-expandable memory, a 5-inch 1080p Sharp manufactured display, a 13-megapixel main camera from Omnivision that takes 4K videos and slow motion videos of up to 120fps at 720p resolution, a 5-megapixel front camera, 3000mAh battery with QuickCharge technology, and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. Other features of the phone includes high fidelity audio playback at 24KHz/192bit and the company’s proprietary TransferJet wireless data transmission technology with transfer speeds up to 200Mbps.

While the phone’s price point and hardware internals isn’t attractive, the phone’s design and hardware internals proves the company’s ability to manufacture a good and unique looking smartphone, it will certainly take a while for people to start appreciating the product, but we believe this is certainly a good start for the Vietnamnese firm.

"Snapdragon 8012.5GHz processor mated to 3GB RAM"

Qualcomm (Snapdragon) is greater than HiSilicon (which is the chipset maker for the Honor crap)

you do realize that hisilicon belongs to huawei, so they keep all profits on the phone, while badPhone uses qualcomm who takes half your profit right?

huawei isn't even a cell phone company, their primary business is network hardware and cloud computing... two categories that Vietnamese don't even understand, much less have companies in.

Profit? Did I mention anything about profit? That's a complete different subject all on its own. I talk about quality.
lmao! You don't even know what you are talking about. Utter crap. :blah::omghaha:

This "Warren Lee" could have some genetic link to Chinese blood similar to the 40% Viets with O3-DNA.
It's not bad for Viets to develop "smart phones" and to become a player in the field. But kangaroos can't fly, can you?

Bphone is not a Kangaroo. You're confused. :omghaha::omghaha::omghaha:

profit is a measure of quality, which is why apple has high profit while badphone has no profit. also none of the phone is Vietnamese except the paint, not even its radio waves belong to Vietnam, which is why it is still inferior to a small huawei side business.

Vietnam's FPT to deploy cloud-related services in Japan

An FPT software development center in Hanoi.

TOKYO -- A Vietnamese software giant will launch a service here next month for companies seeking to adopt cloud computing at lower cost.

FPT Software's Japanese unit will link data from clients' proprietary systems to cloud services for such tasks as customer management, payroll calculations and file storage.

As a cost-saving measure, many Japanese businesses are drawn to public cloud services from providers like Amazon.com, Salesforce.com and Google. But if these services and a firm's proprietary system are not fully integrated, employees may end up having to enter user names and passwords for each separate task or input data multiple times.

Integrating in-house systems and public clouds calls for customization, raising costs. FPT says it is cost-competitive in this area.

FPT employs 2,500 engineers in Vietnam with proficiency in Japanese -- a roster it plans to double to 5,000 in 2017. Along with benefiting from labor costs 60-80% below Japan's, it has built dedicated tools to improve efficiency in such tasks as transferring software from a company's in-house system to the cloud and verifying operations. Such advantages will let FPT reduce development man-hours by up to 80%, according to the firm.

FPT initially forayed into Japan back in 2005. It has handled software development for Japanese information technology companies as a subcontractor and has also won orders from consumer electronics firms to develop software for in-house systems and smartphones as well as embedded software for electronics devices.

By offering the cloud support service to corporate clients, FPT hopes to cultivate a new pillar of earnings and increase direct transactions with Japanese companies. Its business in Japan totaled roughly $52.5 million in 2013. By cultivating new fields, it aims to lift this by 33% on the year to around $70 million in 2014.

I'd laugh too, since all you posted was a software outsourcing company utilizing cloud services, not a company involved in setting up the network hardware which enabled the cloud in the first place.
