Great day that was for us imagine a solo Muslim country, i was teenage , and was watching TV when newscaster announced Pakistan replied india and now we are nuclear power .. I remember tears gushed to my eyes and i was running towards my father farm house which was 2km far from our home... I run non stop i told my Late father we done it papa, pak just announced 5 nuclear tests... My father hugged me and whisper into my ear.... Ab pakistan ko aor tumain koi maile ankh sa nhi daikh sakta...... I still saved that news papar . And thats my only asset which i loved most... Today after decades you makes me cry again dude . Shame on u

as a teenager we were playing volleyball match against one of our enemy team at that time and we had to stop our match around 7 pm cuz people were bringing mathaiyan from every where. It was awesome news cuz all we knew that Pakistan acheive somthing really big. even indian muslims around us were happy.

Thanks for sharing such a personal story... I remember that day as a sign of relief. Relief from the fact that indian threats against Pakistan were given a shut up call after this test. It was the same belligerent attitude adopted by Indian government we saw this time... that was through nuclear bomb and this one through airstrikes ... there won’t a day of peace in the subcontinent till Indian government start treating its neighbor with respect ... bully attitude won’t work
