Found this to be interesting

Gender breakdown for the viewership stats on my YouTube reaction video on Day 1

Punjab Nahi Jaungi - Male 78%, Female 22%
Verna - Male 62%, Female 38%

Also, PNJ trailer hit 1M views in one day, while Verna has taken 2.5 days to get to 1M. I guess that might be the difference between the total box office gross of the 2 films as well.

Looks like a flop film. Incoherent trailer and Shoaib Mansoor is very predictable. Mahira Khan as an actress is so one dimensional. Pati awaz, rona, cheekna. She does the same thing in everything she works in. Not sure what all the hype about her is.

Lets see. Only time will tell. I don't think that a trailer that gets 1M views in 3 days will be an outright flop film.

Plus, keep in mind that trailer reaction videos are watched by those who were really intrigued by the trailer, and in this case, women made up a big chunk of that. Much bigger chunk than Punjab Nahi Jaungi.

In this trailer, Mahira Khan is quite good actually. A lot of her dialogues and expressions could very easily have gone in the overacting zone, but she managed to keep it at the right balance.

I disagree that Shoaib Mansoor is predictable. The only predictable thing is that he will comment on social ills and problems that people probably don't want to talk about, and perhaps in a different way.

If we keep in view the normal business patterns for non eid releases this at best can get 11-14 crore and i am being very generous here lets see what happens i dont keep my hopes high for non eid films

So it has all the ingredients. Now the question is when it is coming out. It keeps getting delayed.

I think that film is very well made, but probably won't make money because it is not being promoted on channels. Maybe I am biased because I really like Shan Shahid as an actor, but I think it will be a very good film.

well, the film has Mahira Khan and she is the most known Pakistani Face outside Pakistan after her success in drama Humsafar, Bin Royee, Ho Mann Jahan and some other block baster dramas. Just check all her films do more business outside Pakistan for example Bin Roye.

True. I think if you look at Ho Mann Jahan, it was a very basic film. But made 20CR worldwide (15CR in Pakistan), in my view, just because of Mahira Khan. So I am thinking 15-20CR should be expected from Verna, and it may even touch 25CR if everything lines up for them.
