I am sorry but I have to tell you that they do not do it because they want Americans to leave Afghanistan. They do it because they feel insulted when they are disciplined over things like being intoxicated on duty or lighting up a cigarette while supposed to be stood up in assembly etc. their drug addled brains can't handle criticism or being shouted at. In any-case it is not all that common, but even once or twice a year cannot be tolerated hence they are either disarmed in mixed gatherings or kept in front at all times

They are not like you. Afghanistan is not a focused Nation. They consist of many Groups having different agendas and bad blood with each other. The Opposition forces including Religious Right Groups like Taliban and Hizbe Islami have their own goals and motivations. Even government coalition is not a united fornt.
The Dostom Led Uzbeks in Junbishe Milli , the Tajiks of Jamiat e Islami, And the Pro-Government Pashtuuns and so on.

Afghanistan Population is divided between pro Government and Anti Government Fronts. Survival comes first and Nationalism comes second. The Government coalition is vastly dependent on American Money and Support as they have to run the government while The Opposition forces are only limited to Insurgency warfare.

Differences among Afghans are much much worse then united nationalism which is sad and unfortunate. Dont compare them With Pakistan or Iran or Even war torn country like Iraq for the sake of comparison. Decades of Dancing on tunes of foreign powers have blurred their National Fabric. Now its battle for Survival for every group against the other by hook or by crook. Their Leaders have betrayed them for decades now

Americans are their rozi paani. without USA presence they would have to go back to their original occupations,which were not as lucrative as a regular wage from Americans.

Original occupations in 1979 and before were:

• being nomadic and raising doombay for qurbaani sale in Pakistan and AJK
• occasionally kidnapping children for sodomy and baigaar on their way back from Pakistan
• walking all over Pakistan selling small items like hing, jeera, bangles,fake cosmetics, costume jewelry, fake roamer and sekonda watches, randomly exploding revolvers and shotguns from a tin suitcase and stealing from people when the opportunity presented itself
• decent ones worked at Pakistani bhattaas (brick kilns) delivered bricks and transported other goods on on camel-back and (mules too) to remote corners and places in Pakistan
• growing poppies/selling hashish

Original occupations after 1979 were:

• fighting for warlords
• growing poppies/selling heroin
  
• smuggling small arms into Pakistan
• blowing up Mosques and/or buses (in Pakistan)
  
• committing robberies and kidnappings for ransom etc
• causing troubles in Karachi causing a violent reaction from (ex)Indians of Karachi

Occupations available at present are:

• join the forces (best paid with opportunities to steal)
  
• join the Taliban, if you are Pashtoon (get blown up quicker or get bombed to oblivion)
  
• join the refugees in Pakistan and cause mayhem there, occasionally kill people at the fence-line, plant IEDs in Pakistan border areas etc.

I have met Afghans in the UK, who consider NATO not to be an invader but an ally. I made the mistake of saying that I felt bad that Pakistan caved in to NATO and allowed them to US Pakistani routes in invading Afghanistan in 2001.


Many Afghans want NATO to stay as they know that this is the only way they can prevent a government of Afghan Taliban or others they don't like from becoming more influential...and many Afghans see NATO as an invader...hence all the carnage there.....

Search for the stories (online) of when naïve common Pakistanis went into Afghanistan post 2001 invasion in order to help Afghanistan fight against the invasion in direct contradiction to their government of the time, only to find out that many Afghans hated them and saw them as invaders and not NATO.

General Scott Miller himself armed during his visit to Ghazni while all Afghan soldiers & commanders are disarmed.

Use this as propaganda to try to convince those Afghans who see NATO as an ally, to change their minds...?

i agree with you but only partially. although The Government coalition is vastly dependent on and corrupted by American Money still some forces are fighting solely for Jihad and for throwing the intruder cow boys out side and they control 65% of Afghan land. Every Afghan is not for sale, though a big majority have sold their soul to the Devil aka USA
