US to drop charges against Huawei’s Meng Wanzhou, allowing her to return to China

I can't believe I got suckered into following the Meng story since her arrest in BC, CA. They were gonna release her right before Beijing 2022 Olympics regardless of whatever happened in between. Could you imagine the whole USA / Canada olympic teams detained and not allowed to return? That would be the embarassment for the West.

The longest they were gonna prolong the detention was right up to the 2022 Winter Olympics to extort whatever they could from Meng/Huawei.

Also, all the world's a stage and the people it's actors. Ppl like Meng, Trump, Biden, even Xi Jinping are the actors on the world stage. Me thinks there is some kind of collusion behind the scene...

Whether Meng Wanzhou is released or not, it is impossible for China to detain the Olympic team.
How could we do such a thing!

Finally this charade can end and the Canadians can come home!

After this much spanking from the Chinese, the Canadians were in no position to even question China's authority.

What authority do you mean?

Canadians never wanted to be in a fight with China. But a stable genius trapped Canada in a treaty obligation and made it a partisan in this fight. :undecided:

There is no treaty obligation to extradite.

Just because you have an extradition treaty doesn't mean you must 100% extradite upon every single request.

In fact, US itself did not honor an extradition request from the UK regarding a murderer.

So Canada voluntarily agreed to this act, it was not forced by any treaty obligation.

Canada did not extradite the woman. She was made to go through the due process under provisions of the treaty.

Wrong again. Minister of Justice in Canada has the right to refuse to proceed with an extradition request. To proceed was a political decision. As an example of this again just look at the US vs UK case.

Canada does not have an obligation to refuse without keeping up with due process.

then it's a political decision to do so, not a legal one, and you have to deal with all the consequences of said political decision.

Yes, Canada's political decision was to be fair and unbiased. As a consequence, Canada managed to weather the storm with minimal blowback

Now we get a clear conclusion: you don't need to waste a second to talk with nations like Canada, Australia or England, just negotiate with their master America.
The whole thing is done by Americans. Canadians were just caught in the middle, which should have been avoided if the government wasn't so dumb.

It was not a deliberate political decision. It was likely because those who managed this type of work got sloppy. Canadians are well known for being lay backs. Government isn't excluded.

if you can call what happened to the two Michaels and Robert Schellenberg minimal...

Weak and extremely dumb move to plead ‘guilty’ to false charges in the Anglo-Saxon’s corrupt judicial system. Now this tactic will be used all the time by the Anglo-Saxons to target every successful Chinese company.

This was never about Meng Wanzhou. This was always about going after Huawei. China’s most successful company. Meng is the chip they used. This dumb woman just made things much harder for Huawei by pleading ‘guilty’ to fraudulent charges.

Ghouls!
Shes not a soldier. Shes a spoiled mother working a desk job. Dont blame the victims for being taken hostage by U.S. criminals forcing them to make false pleads for their propaganda and selfjustification of their illicit judical system.

She battled 3 years in court while under house arrest and has already thoroughly proven herself innocent and exposed how the U.S. lies and frauds, fabricate fake evidence, fake testimonies and disregard any common sense and their own law, yet she was still being kept hostage with no hope to get out, because its cheap to keep a single person hostage especially when Canadian taxpayers keep paying for it. Blame Chinas government doves for not teaching Chinese people to properly recognize and treat the U.S. regime and its supporters as what they are, a threat to world peace, terrorists, racists, massmurderers, pirates and a criminal mafia and instead act often completely ignorant or ambivalent towards the open hate and discrimination they face.

Blame her if she refuses to admit that the U.S. regime forced her to make a false testimony under threat and coercion after she is back in safety.
