US deployed an entire career group in SCS just to isolate china so they are just retaliating. You will hardly find an example where americans are not the trouble makers. China started to be agressive just recently whereas americans have been poking around for the last few decades in SCS. What buisness americans have in SCS other than to cause animosity and agitate china. Would you accept an entire chinese battle group deployed near your shores?

Ok, but the root cause of the problem is China's illegal claim over almost the entire SCS which is against the UNCLOS treaty that even China has signed and which impinges on the sovereignty of all the littoral states concerned..

It's like India laying claim to the entire Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal just because some map made by a drunk cartographer in the 12th century AD showed it to be so!

There are many claims that are contested between Pakistan and India doesnt give right to Americans to use Military force to solve the issue. There are many other nations such as philipine and malaysia and vietnam that have overlapping claims on the SCS as well bcz they believe its their ancient territorial waters. Even Russia has claim on some Japanese controlled Islands. US presence is just making it worse as SCS nations are very much capable of handling the issue themselves.
