My 401K in invested in Fidelity Large Cap growth index fund, it has beaten S&P 500 in the last 10 years.

Started DCA-ing my investable pension funds in the S&P500 a few months ago and I'm already up 9%. Can't say I'm really happy about it. Truth to be told, I would rather the market stays low for some time while I DCA in lol. I'm in my twenties, just starting to accumulate assets and I'm looking at long term returns.

Someone rightly mentioned that a company like Twitter can be run with 500 folks right out of a building in a suburb in Michigan. It holds true for many multi billion companies like Snapchat, Paycom, Dropbox and hundreds of similar companies.

my non retirement fund stuff mostly in bonds right now due to high rates for capital preservation


i'm earning more than had i bought a house and rented it out


i'm not confident that there won't be another big dip, so i'm holding out for the delayed effects of these high rates.

if all you care is Maintenace then maybe. However that means your company will be outdated in a few years and die.
