US seeks supply lines amid Pakistan unrest

:) Thats the main thing we needed to take advantage of but alas we did not.

Most of the fuel supply for US/NATO forces is facilitated by us and if any of you had notices some elements destroyed and bombed oil tankers in the past meant to carry fule of NATO forces.

Most of these tankers were targred inside Afghanistan after which the transport union from our side threatened to halt the supplies after which Afghan Government assured to provide security to Pak-truckers and transporters inside Afghanistan.

Now
1. fules supply shortest route is from Pakistan.
2. second option for US/NATO forces may be to seek for such supplies from some CARs but i guess it would be more costly and long route isnt it ?? or may be im wrong than please comment.

3.What other option you guys see US can seek fuel through???

:) 3.What other option you guys see US can seek fuel through???

all other options are cost prohibitive even for a superpower like the US. the land route through pakistan is the most economic option. once again everyone is jumping the gun too soon.

Most logic and workable alternative would be Russian oil thru Turkmenistan instead of Qatari oil thats being used to fuel Afghan operations.

All options are workable

But what about the Cost ????

As far Russian oil well well

recently Turkmanistan and some other states of former USSR decided not to export russian oil i mean not to faciliate them
