WASHINGTON: The family members of US citizens killed during drone strikes in Yemen have sued top Pentagon and CIA officials.
In Al-Aulaqi v. Panetta, civil libertarians and grieving families seek justice for the death of overseas terror suspects both US citizens killed during a drone strike in Yemen.

The case alleges that on 30 September, 2011, Anwar who was placed on a special kill list by the US was killed during a drone strike along with Samir Khan. Two weeks later Anwar’s teenage son was killed in a strike 200 miles away.

According to a report in The Guardian, the families alleged that the killings violate d fundamental rights guaranteed to US citizens. Along with Panetta, CIA Chief David Petraues and two other military commanders have also been named in the case.

Can any Pakistani do the same ? Please do that and give me 1% of the penalty you get :D US would go bankrupt if they pay for the every illegal death they made .

Are we going to have due process for every terrorist that we need to kill overseas? I'm surprise they use American laws to protect themselves when they don't respect it anyways.

The American laws are based on justice but they were denied that justice and killed in the remote places. They deserve that justice.....its greta they effected families took the case to the court for their right of justice..........:smokin:

Denied justice when they going hiding and planning. That was their own downfall. Even the terrorist's father couldn't keep him off the list because the terrorist himself didn't attend the court. Can't represent by proxy.

As a personal opinion, you are entitled to say that, but without evidence for any of what you say, it is all pretty ineffective.

Interesting point, US used Pakistani law to free Raymond Davis in spite the fact US doesn't even respect it anyways.

How exactly did we not respect it when we don't intend to destroy it? Interesting eh?
