The infrastructure is actually creaky now. Aesthetically I like the old brick buildings but some are 100 years old with alot of decay. Those are private, I am gonna talk about public infra like the rail, subway, roads, bridges, etc, it's creaky compared to China. They should have spent money on those, Trump for all his anti-China leanings is correct, why should we spend so much protecting others when we should use those money to rebuild US.

Well my dear Indian bhai, the cost is rising, but Trump is most worried about 5G , AI and industry 4.0. If you are an engineer like me, you would understand why this is so dangerous, China is now at the forefront of 5G, AI and slightly behind in robotics. But once those come into place, labor cost not gonna affect much. India is 3-4 times cheaper than China, you don't see them moving there en mass do you? They don't have the cluster effect, the supply chain, skillsets etc. Manufacturing is not just about labor cost, especially in the future.

It's more that politics is shortsighted in the US, it's not like those who paid any attention didn't see what china was doing. But those days are over and you blew your cover prematurely. Now you are under the worlds watchful eye and it couldn't start soon enough. You have the largest market now but that can be spread out and that is the trend as we speak. I hope you get more aggressive or just keep doing what you are doing I was more worried before but with you trying to seek control of the pacific and threatening invasion of Taiwan and so much more even the clueless are starting to get it. When china is viewed more like the USSR business practices will catch up, we may be seeing the beginnings of that now. China isn't the only place in the world to do business and spreading out would be a good thing. Indian economic growth surpassed china recently. China's growth is forecast to fall. You can't be so aggressive and expect the world to roll over because you have some money, money can move.
