Військово-транспортний літак Ан-70 виробництва ДП "Антонов", що входить до складу ДК "Укроборонпром", буде модернізований, отримає нову авіоніку та позбавиться російських деталей.
Про відповідну готовність взяти участь у модернізації літака, під час провідної міжнародної виставки Dubai Airshow 2017, заявили компанії з Королівства Саудівської Аравії, Об’єднаних Арабських Еміратів та Туреччини. Завдяки цій модернізації планується розширити унікальні характеристики літака, в першу чергу, завдяки передовим цифровим системам.
Враховуючи те, що у 2015 році Ан-70 було прийнято на озброєння Збройних сил України, модернізація цього літака є одним з найважливіших завдань, яке дозволить значно розширити мобільність та боєздатність українських захисників.
Загалом, успішна реалізація міжнародної програми літака Ан-132 дала старт новим спільним проектам української авіаційної промисловості з іноземними компаніями. І головним завданням було позбавити українську промисловість залежності від російських комплектуючих шляхом налагодження співпраці з прогресивним світом та забезпечення українських літаків найкращими системами міжнародного стандарту. Наразі, за результатами переговорів з партнерами, вже готуються відповідні домовленості для закріплення результатів зустрічей.
В цей же час, продовжується розгортання співпраці ДП "Антонов" з компанією "Taqnia Aeronautics" за проектом Ан-132. Під час Dubai Airshow 2017 була досягнута згода щодо формування коопераційної схеми серійного виготовлення літаків, створення навчального центру "Антонов-Академія" для підготовки техніків, інженерів, робітників, які будуть працювати на заводі в Королівстві Саудівської Аравії з серійного виробництва Ан-132.

At present, according to the results of negotiations with partners, appropriate arrangements are already being prepared for consolidating the results of meetings. At the same time, deployment of Antonov's cooperation with the company "Taqnia Aeronautics" under the project An-132 continues.
