It's shocking that people don't look up at the sky anymore and even those who do just can't actually 'see'.
I have seen this happen in almost every part of UK .. and made videos and took pictures over the past many years.
Took these pictures myself in last one month.

'They' wait for a clear sky (high pressure, low winds) and it carries on for days ...
Starts off like below and ends up like above, expands in to cloud shape and next day the whole area is covered at ground level in these chemicals.
The clouds formed from these lines will shine red at sunset as the light reflects from below the cloud to the eye.
