well this is just a very tiny minority, they are almost meaningless. Just some holigans who dont have much to do/bored with benefits, and are looking for distraction/something to channel their hatred/boredom towards. Anyway in every country there are always people like that. Nothing much to read from this. Even in China, Japan and other Asian countries, you will find such people.

Well, according to the evidence that I can find, most surveys have concluded that at best, the EDL may have about 35,000 members in the UK which amounts to 0.05% of the population. I would say...pretty small. Sources...

We have them in the America as well. They are a tiny group of "wing-nuts". Our's are just more heavily armed.

I'm sure you are correct about under reporting. It's just what info I could find. Even if one considers other groups like the BNP though, in the last UK general election, where one can vote one's conscience in complete secrecy....they still only got 1.9% of the vote. I would imagine that included about every member of the EDL as well.
