It looks like a wise decision by UAE. They will export crude oil to this refinery. After refining they will have a ready market for the refined oil and derivatives from this oil in Pakistan. They will make money and at the same time get a lot of goodwill from Pakistani people and government.

The 70 Billion dollar hasnt gone through yet, they bullshit just like how they bull shited on how they were going to invest 60 billion dollars and construct the worlds largest tower in Karachi. But, overall investments in Pakistan could probably be over 30 billion.

Pakistani government should allocate 1 billion $ every year to install a new government owned industry in the country. It will provide ample jobs to the skilled people but unfortunately govt is trying to sale even the existing institutions.
