The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Republic of Myanmar have signed a joint agreement to establish diplomatic relations, WAM reported yesterday.

The agreement was signed by the UAE's permanent representative to the United Nations in New York, Lana Zaki Nusseibeh, and her Burmese counterpart, Kyaw Moi Tun.

The joint agreement stressed the two countries' common interests while calling for mutual understanding and strengthening ties of friendship and mutual cooperation across the political, economic, and social levels.

During the signing, Nusseibeh said that the UAE was "looking forward to developing relations with Myanmar based on shared interests and priorities," adding that her country was "keen to collaborate with Myanmar to unlock future partnerships in serving the aspirations of the region's countries and peoples."

The diplomats discussed bilateral relations and opportunities for cooperation at the UN. They also discussed the "situation of the Rohingya and the need for open communication channels." The latter was announced as a priority for the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), which the UAE currently chairs.

OPINION: Myanmar, China and now India, is Muslim dignity so cheap?

Abu Dhabi has been sending medical aid to Myanmar to support the country in the fight against the novel coronavirus.

A brutal crackdown by the Myanmar military in 2017 forced almost 750,000 Rohingya to flee their homeland for safe refuge in Bangladesh.
Almost a million Rohingya now live in the world's largest refugee camp in Cox's Bazar in the neighbouring country.

UN investigators have accused the military of "genocidal intent" and a "textbook example of ethnic cleansing" in their campaign against the Rohingya.

UAE establishing diplomatic relationship with MM will send wrong signal to MM Junta.

Modern Khaleejis are nothing like warlike Arabs of the past. They're mainly obese spoiled rich brats that worship consumerism. I don't think most even care about anything aside from their own lands.

A few days ago U.A.E. established diplomatic ties with Israel and now with Myanmar. Both Israel and Myanmar are known Muslim haters. Bangladesh is the worst vicitm of Burmese ethnic cleansing of Rohyngia Muslims. Why is U.A.E. establishing diplomatic ties with all Muslim hating countries?

What's the incentive behind this? At least when they established ties with Israel they got some nice some nice new arms from the US.

Saudi Arabian desert people were 1400 years ago, a bunch of hungry, greedy and ill-mannered nomads who were lured by the green pasture lands in its north in Syria, Iraq and Persia, and Egypt in the west,

The quest for survival is the reason that they fought and conquered these lands. The unitary religion amalgamated the people there who advanced to these lands and built a vast empire.

SA is 15 times larger than Bangladesh. Yet, its agriculture cannot support more than 5 million people. It was true 1400 years ago and it is similarly true today. But, without even economic development, BD land can feed at least 70 million people in comparison. However, SA can now support about 25 million native and foreign people. It is all because of oil and gas.

Non-production of good quantities of agriculture stuffs were the reason that the Central Asian people, Afghan and Mongols were great warriors whatever their respective religion was.

Countries that maintain ambassador-level relations with Myanmar. Note that not all of these countries maintain embassies in the country. That includes Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Note that Pakistan are aware of Rohingya issues since Jinah time. Jinah asked Rohingya to work with Myanmese. Rohingya keep quiet since 60s until Soros puppet Aung San Su Kyi came on board.

Modern Rohingya problem is a CIA funded insurgency and Rohingya are mostly to be blamed for their plight. Muslim leaders are informed but people are under CIA propaganda. That explains why most Muslim leaders are not too excited in hammering Myanmar.

.

As the Partition of British India loomed large, the Rohingyas hoped to join the future Muslim-majority province of East Pakistan. In May 1946, they sent a group of leaders to meet with Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the soon-to-be founding president of Pakistan, requesting that the two Muslim-majority townships of Buthidaung and Maungdaw be incorporated into the new Muslim country. Carving East Pakistan out of Bengal was posing its own complex demographic challenges. Understandably, Jinnah refused to interfere in what he considered the internal affairs of Burma.

Bloody uncouth Mullah, know the history. Know that the infidel Mongol Halaku Khan captured Baghdad in in 1258 and killed Caliph Al-Mustasim under horse hooves.

"The Caliph Al-Musta'sim was captured and forced to watch as his citizens were murdered and his treasury plundered. According to most accounts, the Caliph was killed by trampling by horse hooves. The Mongols rolled the caliph up in a rug, and rode their horses over him, as they believed that the earth would be offended if it were touched by royal blood".

"All but one of Al-Musta'sim's sons were killed, and the sole surviving son was sent to Mongolia, where Mongolian historians report he married and fathered children, but played no role in Islam thereafter".

"Hulagu had to move his camp upwind of the city, due to the stench of decay from the ruined city".

Brother big ignorant Mullah, instead of believing in superstitions, please learn from history.

You are the first sane pdf member.
Most are america haters, filled with Jew envy, the Indian nationalists & then the chinese hypernationalists.

I read somewhere, Rice producing regions have less war than wheat eating regions. Rice takes up lot of resources & need co-operation to produce small amounts. Wheat is less intensive & farmers can devout remaining time for war-like traditions( Europe, russia etc)

Now you can extrapolate to desert dwellers & nomads whether Arabia or inner mongolia. Nothing to lose for them
