The use of Aircrafts is quite evident in these wars Sir. And I did not question that at all.

My point was only regarding the desire to acquire a typical weapon which is in no way needed in fighting the non friendly Taliban.

Before post R&D on such things dear. PAF F16's deal not actually belongs to WOT for your kind information. You have Su30 Mki Mig 29 and Mirage 2000 as compare to we have 25 years old F16s (without any upgrade) including 30 40 years old Mirage thats it. These F16s are actually for DEFEND against Enemy and enemy "India". No restriction on us over these F16s either we used against India or any country.

Which part of my post sounded worried to you Sir? Considering the premise that Pakistan puts forward for the aid and weapons: "Help us fight the Taliban that we choose to fight" I only asked a simple question.....

who gives u the authority to ask the question when usa it self have not any issue so far in providing thse falcons? when pakistan and usa are the only two parties and deal is between only them.. then why are taking so much tension?

They are for India my friend. For Alqaida, we will buy something even better. Like submarines or DF-21 or Anti-Setellite Weapon Systems, S-400 etc.

Mr Deepak, i hope now its pretty evident to you that all the weaponery we have is for you, good for you. In international relations its always mutual interests. America has to fight a war in Afghanistan. For that they need us...500 BVRs n few F-16 is a low price for such a daunting task. By the way, you aren't doing bad as well in buying all the military hardware (i.e 126 MR fighters, UAVS, Artillery guns , AAM/SAM, AWACS etc etc)needed to replace the present one. With all your generals engaging in the war rhetoric and that too with China. No wonder USA is using you against China. Pentagon feeding your generals with all the money they require after retirement. . So, i think keeping all these things in context we're not doing bad as well. Take it easy.

lol....lot of indians think that F-16's provided by US will be used against Talibans and not india....this is only myth...because US is also giving us 500 aim-120c-5 and Orion aircrafts and harpoons for navy, so do u think they will be used against talibans? do Talibans have navy, jets? NO.....All weapons bought from US are for defence of motherland
