U.S. Navy to Commission Zumwalt-class Destroyer USS Michael Monsoor

Typically, larger size = bigger radar signature. A big boxy structure maximizes radar signature.

My guess is the angles reduce the radar signature at the surface for surface fleets, for aircraft in the sky the radar signature is like an aircraft carrier or battleship.

It's a boxy structure. It don't reduce radar signature. It enhances radar signature.

Head on it probably has a lower radar signature. Sides, not so much. I would guess they face their enemies on radar, to put themselves in a more stealthy mode.

No it's crapy ship.

The US Navy and Air Force are like this character, walking around in a superman outfit, believing to be invisible to anyone around.

Nobody can spot me, stealthy all the way! I have the radar signature of a cotton ball! Wait why are all these people looking at me, they can see me. No! Don't believe those who say they can see me in this superman outfit, for it makes me invisible.

If it is stealthy from the frontal attack position, destroying it from two right angles is the way to go.

Believe whatever you want, you're not on expert on Stealth, it has more stealth features than you beloved fairly conventional design Type-55, it has a RCS of a fishing boat from front/head on RCS @undertakerwwefan :hitwall::hitwall::crazy::crazy:

The idiot troll doesn't know the first thing about what kind of radar waves are used in naval radar sweeps to begin with and what the Zumwalt has to counter for that at both macro and micro level (taking into account such things as resonant modes due to air/water interface). He just assumes he doesnt see anything so big and boxy flying in the air, so its gotta be RCS "magnifying". An utter waste of time to even try to start with this idiot....too much silver spoon shoved up his ***, his folks are too rich and have sent their one-princeling to Canada to "study" to inherit whatever fortune is waiting for him with his name on it already... "better". Waste of money and time, but hey its the typical too rich for their own good thing happening (hence the continued spam of 100 idiot topics each day, tagging the same people too). You don't have to learn a thing...no incentive is there at all...given your future does not depend on it.

Its real pity that @Penguin and others like him are no longer in this forum. We used to have really good discussion on such things.

We work with the members we have, not the members we wish we had! :D

(to paraphrase Rumsfeld.)

Such an elegantly simple solution! Who woulda thunk dat?
