I would rather have Pakistan become Europe than have situations like Thar where people don't have anything to eat or drink. Sooner or later this will happen in more areas. Overpopulation is the cause of every single existential problem on earth we face today.

About damn time.. the fact that our governments spent the last few decades doing nothing while the population exploded out of control is a disgrace and may even qualify for treason. The time has come for chinese-style strict measures to curb this madness. Any cleric who comes out to say it's "haram" should be given the same treatment as jihadist terrorists, both are a threat to our national security.

Egyptians are dumb to be trying to curbing their healthy population growth..something countries in West would for to get at.

2.5-3 kids per woman is the most ideal fertility range for a healthy society. Israel is at same range and they are extremely successful

Have you ever looked at the map of Egypt, how are you gonna feed all those people when most of your country is a desert?
Comparing it to Europe makes no sense, Europe has enough fertile land, highly industrialized agriculture, no water shortages, can you say the same about Egypt?
