Another Indian success in the International scene. Two Indians have been arrested in Mauritius and provisionally charged for swindling. This breaking news is a high profile case in Mauritius, a small island in the Indian Ocean with a majority of Indian origin inhabitants. These two Indians have supposedly lured Indians and Nepalese students by making fake promise of employment in the Mauritian Hotel Industry with salary of Rs 140,000 per month (Rs 70,000 Mauritian Rupees) (while the starting salary for an unskilled job is only Rs 6000 Mauritian rupees and a local manager receives only Rs 30,000 Mauritian rupees. Only White Western Managers get big salaries). The two Indians arrested, charged and remanded in police cell are the Directors of an international education group. So this is a reminder to all our members and visitors of the forum to be careful about employment opportunity or educational institution which only care about taking your money. Of course the Indians are innocents as long as the Court has not yet judged them.
