Not to mention that China is very backwards in their practice of democracy also (and many other things).

This may be the biggest reason why it's largely unattractive to migrants.

1st of all, we DO NOT need immigrants. We have 1.5 billion, talents in every field. Getting the permanent residency in China is almost impossible for ordinary foreign citizens.
2nd, the 'biggest reason' is western media make people think about China like you do, even those 2 ladies before coming here as they said in the vedio.

Indians always believe they live in a demorcatic and free country. If there is a country that brainwahes its people between India and China. The country must be China.

3.8 million Chinese live in America.

Always ? America was nothing some 150 years ago.

America is not the first super power and will not be last. As per predictions of current trajectory USA will not remain biggest economy in near future and is in constant declining trajectory.

Look at the covid response. The country even failled to control panedmic which speaks about decay in health care system.

Economic disparity is huge between population and all of these r facts.

The most powerful weapon USA and its economy has is the dollar as reserve currency but it is already under threat from china integration with other economies. Its not about if but when USA economy get destroyed.

The unlimited financing power usa has due to dollar is going to end soon. How soon is known to almighty only.

There are a lot of reasons for that.

The world has been dominated by the Anglo empire for centuries. For most of that time, China was weak and backward. Of course, people would be migrating to the metropole and not some broken, impoverished empire.

Secondly, America is a land of immigrants. Immigrants built this country. It has also been very rich for many generations, thus its reputation is solidified in the global imagination. China has only recently become developed so in the minds of many people, it is still a poor and backward country even though in many ways, it is more developed than the West in certain areas nowadays.

Eventually, there will be more and more foreigners coming to live in China than there are now as it continues to rise.

However Chinese immigration laws are nothing like the US or European laws unless changed recently.

The natives from our Northeast India who go to the East and Southeast Asian countries often make this observation:


1.Indians ( meaning ethnic) are treated fairly and equally in these mongoloid nations , but the mongoloid citizens of India are not treated in such equitable terms within their own country!
within India mongoloid citizens have to bear racists slurs , disparaging comments even by their teachers and professors, unprovoked racist gestures out of the blue ( eg slitting eyes), targeting of girls as easy etc on a daily basis ( but we beat the crap out of them wherever opportunity presents). Hope more of my countrymen go abroad and learn some manners.
2. The northeast Indians are themselves accepted as they are in those foreign nations than within their own country!
