Twitter is now accessible over the Tor network, allowing users in countries that banned it to continue accessing the social network's site.

The new onion URL was announced today by security engineer Alec Muffett who announced that Twitter can now be accessed worldwide via the Tor browser.

Here you go:
Twitter on Tor

Here you go:

Concrete proof that Twitter is a propaganda website.

.
Does anyone circumvent bans to check Twitter? It’s filled with propaganda and fake news.

. . .
But in this case the desperation makes it obvious.

It just means people can chat with each other.

Twitter doesn't run a news page. So it's not like people are being made to read stuff they don't want to read.

That's like saying gmail is propaganda.

This move is aimed at users in Russia not users in Ukraine.

You are clutching at straws and you know it.

Yes, I know it is for users in Russia.

What propaganda are they supposedly being forced to see?

It just means any Russian with Tor will be able to read Twitter if Russia blocks it. If you don't have Tor you are out of luck.

Open for opinions but not Russian opinions. We know

Why is the US so desperate to have Twitter in Russia when it is pulling out all other Businesses?

LOL! Nobody is forcing people to use it.
If they want they can.
PDF is not forcing you to go some Israeli site when you post.

I'm sure any banning would likely slant against the Russians.

Glad Tor doesn't auto launch URL's that people don't want to go to. I never have to worry about ending up on the People's Republic of China government page and reading Chinese...but oh god I could..and that's horrible...it's a an unacceptable risk..my browser should be banned for everybody on the planet due to that!!!! Holy SH*t!!!!!!!!

THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!!!!

Well Apple, Big mac etc. were not forcing Russians to buy their products but too bad US government forced them to pull the plug.

They would hope that they got the same preferential treatment as Twitter.

Well I'm sure you'd be screaming they are somehow propaganda if they switched their names to Orange and Small Mac and started reselling.
