Twitter expresses concern for safety of staff in India, after disagreement with Govt on 'objectionable' accounts

Why Jamahir now have so much love for corporate companies? They all bend over to government demands. They are not some holy messengers, they sell our data for targeted ads and earn billions in revenue. If governments can threaten that supply, what do you think they will do? Selling wokeness don't earn revenue. And no other government is going to rescue them if they are kicked.
we have our winner!!! PDF cutest safroni baboon!

baboons logic "if other countries say Pakistan threatens fb or twitter it is attack on freedom of information tyranny blah blah but when Modi g does the same ahh well these cooperates have made innocent baboons a product and sell our bobs vagena history to advertisers""

jai Mahraj Modi ki wahhhhh!!

I generally agree with you, but in this case there is the additional government threat of jailing of Twitter employees in India.

If there has to be action taken against FB and Twitter then the government should go the full way and ban them totally instead of threaten with jailing the employees of the two orgs. Jail term will simply indicate that India is now a half-dictatorship going towards full. Who knows what will be the situation if Yogi manages to become PM in 2024.

Edit : The Indian progressives anyway have some websites to gather, like velivada.com and The Wire, and also YouTube.

Right now the Americans will bow before the Indians. They will crawl to appease India. Turn a blind eye to all atrocities and wrongdoings. The Americans have one epically major misconception. India is not the one that will deliver success against China. The Americans are falsely pinning their hopes on overrrated quad nations.
i think they fully understand that Modi g is as smart as a baboon and easy and a cheap tool to be used against china! thwy dont expect India to deliver a major blow to china USA just wants time to reposition and comeup with a strategy,India is there to buy time!

racist whites using slaves again!

this is such a stupid move by India. there is no way they would go through with it, but if they did then the criticism from the West would be so scathing that it would damage India's reputation around the world.
No one really cares about our Image. India is not a minnow country for a company to push around.

Why not? They're the ones who are supposed to take action against those accounts for inciting violence. Like I said, apply the same logic they applied during the Whitehouse insurrection. By putting the men in charge of some corporate firm for non-compliance is not dictatorship. Comply with the local laws or fight the rules in court. You are not judge or jury we have an independent judiciary which Twitter can sort to if it feels they are being unfairly targetted. But I guess they already know the answer, IT act is clear for everyone to read.
