There had been lots of ups and down during the current tenure of Mr Nawaz Sharif as Prime Minister. Let me bring some of the events which are called by some as coincidence but now pointing out at something more like orchestrated events. But when he was stuck in some issue and was under pressure from someone, somehow something would happen which was actually bad for the Pakistan but blessing for Mr NS. Let me give U some insight.
Relations between PM Modi and Nawaz Sharif
Modi in his election campaign had been threatening PM NS with dire consequences for many things but these threats later on converted into deep love for each other. For instance when lots of Pakistanis got Martyred during Indian firing esp at working boundary, Pakistanis expected quite strong response from NS but were rather really baffled to see gifts being sent from NS to Modi. Many people pointed fingers towards some trade deals between India and Mr NS (not Pakistan) and things later on came into light and so were instances of sending billions of US dollars from Pakistan to India.

Though some economists explained this transfer in this way
"Reached for an explanation, Dilip Ratha, Manager, Migration and Remittances at the World Bank, said, "The reported remittances from Pakistan to India are not an actual, official data. It is an analytical estimate derived from a global estimation of bilateral remittance flows worldwide. This estimate is just that, an estimate based on logical assumptions."
He said the caveats attached to the estimates are: "The data on Indian migrants in various destination countries are incomplete; the incomes of Indian migrants abroad and the costs of living in India are both proxied by per capita incomes in PPP terms, which is only a rough proxy; and there is no way to capture remittances flowing through informal, unrecorded channels."
Later on it was revealed that India has sent some machinery and staff at peanuts price to one of the sugar mills owned by Sharif family and ofcourse NS was more than obliged for that.
Arrest of Indian Spy and Panama Leaks.
When Indian agent Kulbhushan Yadav was arrested in Pakistan, there was lots of expectations that Pakistan would strongly raise this issue at world forums and would kick off a strong diplomatic effort to showcase Indian interference in Pakistan but the response of Govt in general and Mr Nawaz Sharif in particular was lukewarm. There was some dull type of diplomatic activity on the issue and not once did Mr Nawaz Sharif talk on this anywhere ever. Same NS was all submissive at the aftermath of Pathankot Fiasco. But the same Nawaz Sharif addressed the Nation in 3 times just in one month when Panama Leaks came out. That was ironical for many.
Act of Terror in Pakistan, Blessing in Disguise for NS
Nawaz Govt was quite under pressure due to PTI's dharna when the APS attack happened and that too in KPK where PTI's govt was there. It did not happen in Sindh, Punjab or Balochistan but with quite co incidence happened in KPK. Surprisingly when whole Nation mourned there was jubilation in PML(N) camp as PTI's dharna got over and PTI came in direct line of fire along with Army. Win win situation for NS. Some even asseretd that this was actually planned to relieve pressure on NS. This latest video of ally of NS might throw some light on APS attack.
When pressure on Nawaz Sharif mounted on wake of Panama Leaks it was on 18th April 2016 when American Embassy in Pakistan issues warning of possible attack on Marriot Hotel Islamabad.

It was later on speculated that there was a possible attack planned by India from Afghanistan to rescue Nawaz Sharif out of Panama Leaks and divert the attention towards Army. But recently it was revealed that this attack was naturalized by Pakistani Spy Agencies.

And why should not India save Nawaz Sharif? Answer is given by India itself.
Prospects of Future
Judging the turn of events we can surely conclude that Modi Govt would go all the way to save Nawaz Sharif as he suits their interests and they might try to launch anything to create a diversion for him. This might include any high profile attack/assassination in Pakistan or even in India and Pak Army/ISI would be blamed for that as usual. Coming days are quite criticle as current govt would try to play all cards they have, including striking deal with PPP and MQM for their assurance that they will stand behind current govt and all cases against them would be dropped esp the Uzair Baloch case against Mr Zardari would be laid to rest. The most worried part would be some staged attack on any Pakistani Nuclear installations or alleged presence of any radioactive substance near these site or anywhere in Pakistan.
