"Arabs and even some Kurds have joined the protests. We are standing altogether against that shady election," a Kirkuk resident speaking to Anadolu Agency, Ali Berberoğlu said.
Another resident, Murat Ahmet also said that the results should be considered null and void.

"We will not allow Kirkuk to come under a one-sided administration again. We will continue our protests."

the turks in iraq are no other than the citizens of turkey.. they are the leftovers of ottoman empire. the only reason why our government calls them Turkmen is because Turkmen sounds different so they can blend our people and act as if they have not much to do with turkish republic.. just politics to turn on a blind eye.. its like they

I know that you do. I also consider Azeris, Turkmens and all other Turks around the world as my brothers and sisters and maybe @Timur feels the same way too but the Non-Turks and Wanna be Arabs that are in power in Turkey think different...

To them an Arab, Kurd, a Pakistani or Somali is much more dearer than a fellow Turk.
For all the tragedies that happened in Turkey in the last years they didn’t even mourn for a day but for Palestinians they will do for 3 days.

our republic runs away from their responsibility to protect their ppl in Iraq its a shame.. that is my concern.. we turks of turkey have the responsibility to protect them because they are our leftovers.. that is what I thought when I wrote my post above and its also the thing I am ashamed of..

as brothers .. but my opinion is our republic has a special heritage and responsibilities and because of the geografics she should do her work , its like the uncle from germany has to come (to turkey) to repair the door of his nephew because the father does not care to help out.. thats how I see it..

Iraqi Turkmens are the turkmen tribes who settled in Iraq and they speak the old Anatolian Ottoman Turkish the one was spoken by the kayi tribe

The dialect they speak is the same in the tv show ertugul

Iraqi Turkmens are older than turkey it self nobody is going to send them anywhere and they are not going anywhere

I have only seen first episode but they were speaking modern Turkish there, no dialect as far as i remember.

Well I was reading that the words they used was old turkish iraqi and syrian Turkmens said the dialect that used in the series was similar to theirs

Yes some words but the spoken dialect is modern Turkish.
Though a Turkmen from Iraq wont have any problem understanding.

as said leftovers of ottoman empire they would be turkish citizens if some would not have abondon that territories or if they would have setlled to turkey..
you can call them seljuks ottomans and so on but you descripe the same ppl this are just names of their leaders.. (seljuk and uthman)

and no one in turkey would dare to say they are someone else.. it is like seperating ppl from edirne or ppl from sivas or somewhere else there are many places where turkmens settled.. its politics to turn on a blind eye.. else our folk would want some actions.. the clans that exists where just the names of leaders the one is decendent of kayi the other one belongs do cepni and the legendary forefather of all turkmen is Oghus khan

on turkish sattelite there is or was a turkmen tv from iraq or for iraqi turkmen and the ppl there seem to speak the same language except that little arabi accent of some of them due to massiv use of arabic language in their private times with local ppl..

if we are allowed to say it its really little differences because of distance... there is much more difference in Sächsich of germany and Bayrisch of germany.. if we want to compare it with german dialekts.. the difference here is more like azerbaycan and turkey
