are you proud of that i mean you had 8 years war against Iraq and still suffered terrible losses.
I have a deep respect for the Turkish military and the Turkish people. Iran on the other hand earns the same respect. Despite sanctions, an aggressive American policy against it, decades old airforce and limited Russian supply, Iran remains the fist of the middle east. One of the few and practically the only country in the world which could show the Americans the middle finger and get away with it with NO outright support from any other nation. Iraq tried and see what happened to it. Turkey on the other hand can boast multitudes after getting all the support it needs from its brothers in the west and even Russian support. All that I'm saying is compare the position of the two countries before going on a full boast about one and mocking the other. Iran would have been militarily light years ahead if it received the same level of support which Turkey did.
Israel sold weapons to Iran included 150 M-40 antitank guns and 24,000 shells, spare parts for tank and aircraft engines, 106 mm, 130 mm, 203 mm and 175 mm shells and TOW missiles.
also Lance missiles, Copperhead shells and Hawk missile
also 45,000 Uzi submachine guns, anti-tank missile launchers, missiles, howitzers and aircraft replacement parts
Israel sold weapons to the Shah's government. What was the revolutionary government supposed to do with those weapons? Tell the Iranian military not to use them since they were kosher ?
