The contract concerns the integration of subsystems into a Coast Guard aircraft for maritime surveillance operations.

SSM said the RFI involves maintenance, operational services and integration of required subsystems for the one Beechcraft King Air 350ER the government will purchase for the Coast Guard program.

The aircraft will perform maritime border security missions, search-and-rescue support and maritime surveillance operations.

SSM is responsible for the execution of the Coast Guard aircraft program. The government agency plans to gather information on potential integrators and clarify technical details concerning the aircraft and subsystems.

Comparison existent US Coast Guard HC-144 (CN-235) MPA with Lockheed Suite,
C-144A's equipment is similar to the Coast Guard's HC-130 aircraft,
which reduces maintenance and training costs,
8 hours endurance.

TR-328 MPA also available as turboprop- interesting tender and race

With modification, the 328 may also be used for purposes outside of passenger transportation, including as cargo aircraft, military mission aircraft,
maritime patrol aircraft and air ambulance.
