Turkey to fast-track draft bill approving troop deployment in Qatar: Officials

Never going to happen nor does it matter. Qatar (Hamad and son) are screwed regardless.

Are you related to royal family in some way? Otherwise I cant understand you would support your government for this action which is solely caused by Qatari support to populist movements which threatens despotic monarchies.

Well...... seems Qatar has sign hidden security pact with Turkey. @Saif al-Arab
Nothing is hidden.

Turkey set up a military base in Qatar, its first such installation in the Middle East, as part of an agreement signed in 2014. In 2016 Ahmet Davutoglu, then Turkish prime minister, visited the base where 150 troops have already been stationed, the Turkish daily Hurriyet reported.

In an interview with Reuters in late 2015, Ahmet Demirok, Turkey's ambassador to Qatar at the time, said 3,000 ground troops would eventually be deployed at the base, planned to serve primarily as a venue for joint training exercises.

Well its been a while (30 + years) since we Arabs taught the Al Furs a lesson. It's long overdue to begin such a project again. Looking very much forward to it. If the US is OK with that it's even better.

Bro, i know you don't support or care for Qatar in anyway....but hear me out, this will be Mursi all over again.

Still doubt this deters if invasion was under serious consideration. It's not about the number of troops you can position there, it's the might of that country itself at home and what it can do when those troops are hurt, in this case that is not much given the distance and Gulf states having large air forces.

There is no fighting force there. Eventually Turkish force end up on border security and confront UAE and KSA in case of any border skirmish . Which hopefully not going to happened. But, still the flow of Turkish solder at this time will raise some GCC top boys eye brows.
