in line with 1007 program Tübitak Savunma ve Güvenlik Teknolojileri Araştırma Destek Grubu ( SAVTAG ) is now initiating a new project which is a false target jammer and it will be delivered to AF with in (latest) 36 months.
a brief knowladge about a false target jammer which is utilized for deception jamming; it involves transmitting signals that mimic the real radar return. Via transmitting a radar signal slightly before or slightly after the real return, the radar receiver gets the impression the target is closer or farther away than it really is. By transmitting a signal matching that of the radar, a false target jammer can create multiple targets on the victim’s radar.
