No , its not . Nobody is going to allow some terrorist to enforce their " barbaric version of Islam " . If they want to implement it , there's a easy way through the democratic process where they can take part , win the majority required to legislate freely and then do whatever they want with the system . In this way , it is merely bloodshed for the sake of it . I will tell you something interesting and ironic here , no Islamic political arty and I mean none here has ever won any majority in center or formed Govt separately without taking the help of the same " liberals " they despise and the military , in the 60 years of country's history ,at most they have formed one or two times a Govt in a certain province KPK but nothing beyond that , now that is a fact . Do you think that the Pakistani Govt can accept their demands of " another system " for the whole country ? No , they cant . The so called peace process is " destined to fail " , because of the ridiculous demands by these murderers , it just waits to be seen how soon the Govt realizes it .

When civil regimes of sucessful nations takes a decision to have 'dialogue' with representatives of such outfits,they make sure that their original objective behind any political/strategical move will be to provide safeguards to their interests as well as assures their 'dominating position'.
The policy behind peace settlement with such outfits is mainly revolves around the central point ie to maintain peace in the region,avoid further loss of lives and assures implementation as well as strengthening themselves and replenishing back up plans,rather then accepting their writ or 'weakening' the position of state.
And what suggestions I have got?bringing Saudi 'ulemas' to decide/declare Islamic and unislamic laws and then to make 'amendments' on such constitution which has already focused in provision of safeguards to Islamic interests?
And accepting their demands?who are funded by 'you-know-who'

3-4 salient points of a proposal of Pakistani surrender to mighty TTP :

1) Govt would withdraw Army from all tribal areas.
2) All TTP guys will be absorb into police, para-military and army.
3) Sharia law will be implemented in tribal areas.
4) All foreign fighters will be allowed to live in that areas.

In short, there will be two parallel govts. in Pakistan, one in tribal area & one in rest of Pakistan. Islamic state of Wazirstan would be in position to influence the foreign policy of Pakistan.

It looks like a nation with so called mighty army/air force is brought on to its knees and surrendering to a rag tag militia group of thugs. It also shows us, how tactic of extreme violence can break the will of a nation to fight. Consequence of Pakistan surrender would be felt around the globe and specially in SE Asia & ME.
