KARACHI: The alleged chief of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistans Karachi chapter, Noor Wali, and three other activists, Niaz alias Riaz, Khair Muhammad and Niaz alias Umer, have been remanded to Special Investigation Unit Quaidabads custody until December 18 by Judicial Magistrate Malir Aslam Shaikh. Police had produced the accused before Shaikh on charges of murder, attempted murder and encounter with police. As per the police, who sought physical remand, the accused were involved in a number of heinous offences including kidnapping for ransom, and they were under interrogation for running a kidnapping for ransom network for funding their terrorist activities.

The same court fixed bail plea hearing of the accused booked under section 506 (B) and 34 PPC by Bilal Colony police station in New Karachi Town for Tuesday.
